With a historical emphasis on drying systems, CMC has built its position in the marketplace by providing heavy duty, reliable board drying lines that achieve a high degree of efficiency through the application of automatic exhaust controls and proven heater systems, fans, uniform air distribution manifolds, controls and instruments. Even greater levels of efficiency can now be cost justified and achieved through the application of optional preheat and heat recovery equipment, which has commonly been utilized in the European marketplace.

Equally important is the fact that the large installation base of older CMC drying lines can also benefit from current technologies. Each of these drying lines can attain greater fuel economy through the addition of the CMC patented dry end seal system with automatic exhaust control and the retrofitting of an insulated and sealed floor. This modification eliminates any inward and outward airflow at the entry and exit ends of the dryer, as well as through the classic foundation seal.
